Even though Dr. Jim B. Tucker never ended up responding to my emails, he's an important figure in the film since he's the one who wrote the book  Life before Life.

 In order to still adress him and his research, I start the film off by seeing his lecture on the television.

I still wanted to adress the many things I'd learned in the book through a scene in which I ask an overwhelming amount of questions that I got from reading it.
